Minikin Character Doll Set
Miss Jane Marple, contemporary sleuth of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, partners with her dearest friend, Dolly Bantry, in this fabulous moment from "The Body in the Library". Jane & Dolly are taking a thorough look at "the body", before the police arrive on the scene. The three Dolls are separate and individual, ready for you to arrange in your favorite setting.
These 4-inch Minikin Handmade Character Dolls are traditionally dressed to suit the purist in every Christie Mystery Novel fan (from the classic suits to the hats and handbags). You'll even find the cheap finery on "the body", including the silver-trimmed dress and bleached hair.
All of the clothes have been handmade from a wool-rayon felt, seed beads have been sewn on to simulate Miss Marple's jacket buttons and purse clasp, silver foot windings on "the body" with lots of silvery-metallic embroidery stitching to show the cheapness of her dress, and felt "feathers" on Dolly's needle-felted hat. All three heads have been entirely needle-felted from merino wool. It's all done by hand, with hundreds of teeny-tiny stitches in each Minikin. Always top quality in a little package!
If you'd like more than one or are looking for a matching Hercule Poirot doll, just let us know.
